This painting is inspired by the wonderful inlets along tle place called Altar, between Upper Cove and Toormore on the way to Goleen in West Cork. It is the most magical spot with stunning views and rocky inlets. We often picnic there, just soaking up the beautiful coastline. It features craggy rocks and rough seas within an inlet. The palette is grey, green, aqua blue, black and touches of cadmium red and ochre.
