An original contemporary oil painting of an old Irish rural farmbuilding, whitewashed with a corrugated red roof. This is my neighbour Conors shed on a dairy farm down the road. I am surrounded by dairy farms and this is where my love of old farm buildings started. Little red roofs dot the landscape and break up the expanse of green. The colour palette is grey, green, umber and cadmium red. I use a palette knife to achieve texture and interest.
