This landscape of a freshly cut hayfield in Rossmore Clonakilty is such a typical sight in West Cork during the months of May and June where silage is drawn. Tractors, haytrucks and silage cutters tear in and out of fields, trying to beat the rain. The cut hay is collected, bound and stored for animal feed in winter. There are whole communites involved in silage cutting, farmers helping each other and their families to provide feed for the cattle come winter. The palette is mainly blue, grey and ochre
