Say Her Name

An expressionist oil landscape painting of a scene in West Cork. This original piece is an oil on canvas, expressionistic is style of an area near my home. The title refers to the headlines at the time relating to Breonna Taylors death and the official reluctance to address her death. I was listening to a report about it when I was painting it. Those kind of situations often influence the title of a piece.
