This piece represents a feeling of grief and despair at losing a loved one, it's an expressionist piece trying to capture that experience we all have at some stage in our lives, a natural part of life which sometimes feels insurmountable, my way of dealing with these feelings is to paint them. The palette is dark grey, black and prussian blue.
