Damaged Memories

An expressionist oil landscape painting of a scene in West Cork. This was made on a really frosty morning when the whole valley was covered in a white and blue sheen and you could see your breath in front of you. The palette is grey, prussian blue, white, ochre and cadmium red. I paint using a palette knife and other tools including twigs to achieve texture.
