An expressionist oil landscape painting of a scene in West Cork, Ireland. This framed oil painting of Corran Lake near Leap West Cork which is typical of Irish scenery in the early spring with a grey cloudy sky and lake reeds, filled with nesting birds. My eldest son had recently moved out of home and this inspired the title.
