Gorse

A framed oil and cold wax contemporary landscape painting. The big players in this painting are the cereluem blue sky and ochre foreground, sometimes its nice to play with two big bold colours and see where they go. My inspiration comes from living and working in a beautiful rural area in West Cork, Ireland. The light is particularly stunning here and that's what I try to capture in my paintings.
