Hymn

A textured contemporary oil painting on canvas, framed with a dark grey wrap around frame. Irish scenery is very often dark as we get limited sunlight through regular cloud cover, but sometimes that light suddenly bounces out from gaps in the cloud and hits a spot on the landscape that I just have to paint. I use a palette knife and a limited colour palette to reflect what I see.
