Island

This large oil painting on canvas is of an remembered scene inspired by the West Cork landscape that surrounds me. This series of oil paintings is informed by our interventions into the landscape and how that affects our environment and ultimately climate change. I try to capture that particular Irish light that we have in West Cork, hard to describe in words but lovely to paint.
