Rare Time

Remembering a beautiful sunset standing on some rocks in Reenescreena, this oil landscape painting is made from memory in oil paint and wax. The hills in Reenescreena in West Cork allow a sweeping vista over a vast area. It can be quite isolated in parts with some rocks and crows for company, but still deeply and wildly beautiful. The palette is blue, grey and ochre and is painted using a palette knife.
